This program is designed to speed up the researching of items in a HijackThis log once it has been posted onto a forum or from a log file.
It will run in the system tray and when a hotkey/shortcut key is pressed, it will copy the word that has been selected and automatically search for that word on Google or sysinfo.org depending on the hotkey that is pressed.
1) Select the word in the HijackThis log
2) Press one of the following Hotkeys (Shortcut Keys)-
Search a Website-
Key Combination
Ctrl + g will search for the selected item at Google (search engine)
Ctrl + b will searched for the item in sysinfo.org's BHO (Browser Helper Object) database
Ctrl + s will search for the start up item in sysinfo.org's startup list
Alt + s will search for the start up item in windowsstartup.com's startup list via google
Alt + a will search for a process at answersthatwork.com
Search a Database-
Alt + b will search for the item in an offline BHO database (Browser Helper Object) (or from right click menu on tray icon)
Alt + t will search for the item in an offline Toolbar database (or from right click menu on tray icon)
Alt + c will search for the item in an offline CWS database *(Cool Web Search database for identifying CWS Trojans) (or from right click menu on tray icon)
Ctrl+ d will search for the item in an offline Startup Database
* To Search for a CWS website, select (highlight) the domain from http:// to .com (or other e.g. .uk, .org, .net etc)
Example, to search for microsoft.com, select from http:// to .com and press Alt + c -
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/default.mspx
All Databases are updated often so using the update feature often is recommended
Other options-
Ctrl + z will close the current "Active" Internet Explorer widow
Ctrl + Alt + z will close all Internet Explorer windows
Ctrl + n will run notepad
Ctrl + F12 will update all of the databases from allsecpros.com
Ctrl + Alt + s will suspend all Hotkeys (so they have no effect when pressed)
Ctrl + m will display a menu by the most with most of the above options
A new window will open with the search results in. This can save a lot of time when searching through HijackThis logs.

30/04/04 Sysinfo.org seems to be having website trouble but should be resolved soon, For now the page may need refreshing a couple times
01/05/04- The interface has been improved and the instructions will only show once
02/05/04- Sometimes the selected text isn't sent to the clipboard, this has been fixed

23/08/04- Offline BHO and Toolbar Databases are now downloaded from Computercops.biz. This is the only toolbar and BHO database being updated at the moment.
23/08/04- You can now choose your own tray icon for HJTHotkey.
